A 5.75" x 9.0" 18-page booklet ~ a scarce original. SOLD $325.00           PHOTOS       42nd Bomb Wing Bomb Damage Survey Photo Book - Scarce WWII era USAAF strike damage assessment photos and information from the strikes on the Rome Marshalling Yards by the 319th and 320th Bombardments Groups in March of 1944.  While flying B-26 Marauder bombers, these units inflicted heavy damage to the Nazi war machine at these strategic rail yards during WWII.  The booklet contains 36  4" x 5" original strike photos as well as typed descriptions of each image per page.  Named to USAAF T/Sgt. Boyd D. Jacks (AF-19098569).  A very interesting piece of history!  $125.00 8th Air Force / ETO Photo Albums -  (2) WWII era 8th Air Force veteran photo albums containing 300+ period original photographs. These are larger (tall) leather bound albums that each measure approx. 20" tall and 14" wide (opened as shown).  One album is full and the other album is partially full, with approximately (305) period original prints, and some with accompanying negatives as well.  The content varies from day-in-the-life pics, to local sites and cities, to various AAF personnel, a few of aircraft and more.  Lots of nice images of AAF Nurses, AAF Officers, and other Pilots and personnel.
