A truly historic grouping from Pvt. Edward M Brusso who served in both
WWII and during the occupation of Japan post-war. The grouping features
a great Enlisted Man's Ike style jacket with custom cross-stitched
sewing of all the insignia - a "sterling" marked metal jump wing. Two
occupation made Jump jackets in excellent condition, a rare custom
painted B-4 bag, pants, shirt, tie, extra gear including .45 holster,
.45 clip pouch and gun cleaning set. A great pair of Corcoran
jump boots, over seas caps, an 11th Airborne painted leather shaving
case which contains extra insignia, pins, ribbons, medals, Occupation
currency, an early WWII silk U.S. Flag for the jump jacket, etc. An
impressive display as you can see. Note: I included the Enlisted
Man's (peaked cap) for the display photos only ~ this cap did (not) come
with the grouping originally. Also, the Glider Infantry OS cap patch is
loose and was affixed to the cap for the display photos, but it is
original to the grouping. Overall, a wonderful grouping for you Airborne
guys! $2,800.00 |
